September stuff

Wow, did I miss all of August? Guess that's what happens when school is back in session.

Anyway, here are a few things I've completed lately.

The first two items are some Breast Cancer Awareness totes. These were made for a dear friend in NY, who will auction them off at the BC Awareness walk in October.

This wallet was made for the sister of one of our soccer players.

discontinued by Duck Brand :-(.

Well that's it for now. As I mentioned, the B&W Damask pattern, called Baroque is being discontinued. I just hate that too, cuz it's my favorite. I had several of my friends raid their nearest Target store to get me what's left :-).

My May stuff...

Cardboard kitchen...Take 2!

This is a post I just did on my other blog. I figured since it's a "craft" project, I'd better show it here too.  So, here it is...

It is DONE!!!

Ok, so how long ago was it that I said I'd be working on that kitchen for my cute little friend? Oh, doesn't matter when I said it...cuz it's DONE!!!

YIPPY!!

And I still have an entire week before I have to deliver it to the little princess. Sad thing about that is, that gives me 7 more days to add more little girly details to it. :-)

So, wanna see it? Well, DO YA???

Okie dokie...Here it is....

The whole thing!

The Stove.
 (YEP! that's a real oven rack)

(YOU GUESSED IT...there's a window to look inside the washer.
It's simply an acrylic plate with "bubbles" in it to look like water.

Well, whatcha think? I really like it!  I love how girly & prissy it is.  My little friend, Megan, is turning 5 next week. And my hope is to have it set up for her when she gets home from school on Thursday. Her mom does embroidery, And she's gonna put Megans name or something on a cute piece of fabric that will hang in the opening under the sink. So once we get that installed, I'll share another picture.

Anyway, that's it for now. This was SO much fun to build. And SO much easier than the first one I did. NOW, I know what to do!! :-)

Knife sheath

Here's another project I did for a guy that works at Lowe's. He makes knives and asked me to make him some sheathes for them.

Changed my BLOG name

One more thing...I decided to change the name of my BLOG. Reason being, I'm finding that this will be a great place to display ALL of my crafts. Duct Taping will be my primary "thing" and I will continue to make & sell my Duct Tape creations. So you know the drill...holla at me if you want/need something made.

What did I do in April...

Well...I really don't know! :-)

I did decorate these 3 boxes for a ShoeBox Party I went to. We had to decorate boxes and fill them with travel sized/small items for a local Womens Shelter.  This was the 2nd year that I've attended one of these parties. And I just love that it's for a worthy cause. Not to mention, it was a great time fellowshipping with the girls!

Also, I found some new tape that's on the market. I only have the 2 pictured below for now. But, in addition to these, there's also Houndstooth, Pink/Black Zebra print, Black/White Checkered available. So if you want something made out of any of these, let me know so I can get them.

Well, I think that's it for this month. I'm working on another project too with duct tape. So as soon as I'm done with it, I'll share. Until then...I'm out!

More March stuff...

Here are a few more items I've made this month.

First, this cute little tote bag is a birthday gift I made for one of my daughters friends/soccer teammates. Betcha can't guess what her favorite color is? :-)

And here's a bag I made...just because.  I wanted to do a purse with a different shape and in brown for a change. Pretty pleased with this one too.

Lastly, here are 2 large wallets I made for a really nice man that I met at Lowe's. I'm sure he was wondering why I was purchasing a length of rope :-).  So when I told him that I made purses/bags out of duct tape, he said, "I betcha can't make a wallet!?!" To which I answered, "I betcha I CAN!" :-)  And that conversation ended with him asking me to make him 2 wallets.  I'm really pleased with how they turned out. And I think he was even more pleased than me. He loved them!

I think I'd better start adding stuff by the month. I'm running out of "titles" for my new items :-).

Anyway, here's a couple new things I've made over the past few days. I think Lime Green is making a come back. These 2 bags alone used almost 4 rolls!
